It was back in winter 2014 that I had composed this particular Wakhi poetry, entitled “Haywon’v en Ki Towi Yũwretk” (If you’ve been distinguished from animal).when I launched my personal website (www.fazalamin.com ), this poetry was also published it. the poetry is based on nature, philosophy and spiritualism) and persuades a human towards exploration of one’s mind (intellect), soul and the light. It then tries to exemplify the traits and characteristics humans possess that emanate from the individual minds.
Recently, out of more then a hundred, this same poetry was brought to the limelight by the Shumol Band Group of Hunza Valley under the direction of Mazuz Shoh, a renowned Wakhi musician of the region.but I must mention here that the wonderful and compassionate initiative was actually taken by Madam Zahida Parveen (who prefers herself to be identified with her family name as Zahida Khan). She took a keen and deep interst in my poetry and offered to sing it in her sweet and melodious voice provided I accepted the idea.I thus honored her sincere offer in spring 2019 at Islamabad. When she prepared the poetry within a very short timeframe, I recorded it on my digital voice recorder and handed over a copy of it to her for further practice.My brother Amin Beg and family were so kind and appreciated the effort after they listened the song.In the later phase, brilliant Mazuz Shoh was contacted and he was so keen, too, to grace it with his wonderful music composition, though the melody was already there during of time of the poetry composition.
The song was expected to be brought to the public in June 2019 but it took further time and delayed for a few months because of various factors in technical terms.It was Mazuz Shoh who has identified Faizan Ali Arman Ali, another sweet vocalist of the valley.honestly speaking, I was not aware of the young Faizan Ali despite the fact he belongs to my own hometown (Gulmit) and is an intelligent and a talented student of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School in Gilgit (Northern Pakistan).
After finalization of the product, the Shumol Band promoted the song for two weeks under the title “Inson” (Human) and released it finally on November 2, 2019. The Anglicized Wakhi and English translation of the poetry was carried out by myself (and if there is any gap, I myself am responsible for it).
In a week’s period of the release, I’m officially publishing the same Wakhi song/poetry (Inson)here on my website and hope the readers would positively and productively benefit from it with due acknowledgement and credit for educational purpose.

the Wakhi poetry composition and English translation follows hereunder but it needs to be kept in mind that after the poetic translation a short explanation has also been made between the lines of ellipses (………).
Khirad Khũdhoye ki ta’r dhetk, shũkrev bajo ko wũzũm
Haywon’v en ki towi yũretk, zikrev c̃hũto ko wũzũm
If God has bestowed upon you the boon of intellect, be appreciative of it,
If you’ve been distinguished from aninals, bring out a distinct narrative of it.

A human is distinguished from other animals based on the intellectual power he or she possesses. Otherwise, human is also the same animal per se. Or do you think there is anything more? Be thoughtful my friend, if deem yourself a human.

Rẽ pũzũv nepervetki ce, ya voyn et jon -e wũyũk̃h
Ya Aqli cereng chũvetk, fikrev pũr baho ko wũzũm
what a mystery (when deliberated)! The roots of the Light and Soul are incomprehensible,
how the intellect would have been created, bring out your thoughts, which are deemed so invaluable.

Behold! If you’ve the light and soul within yourself and in the Universe, if the Super Intellect has created the whole Universe, who created the Super intellect or Supernatural Being? Be thoughtful seriously my friend, if you deem yourself a human.

Yash-e jẽnawi ti nafs, ti khiradi skem ce swor
Vidinet ki yem dishetk, aqler yow razo ko wũzũm
Your materialistic nature is like a horse your intellect is riding it in different forms,
If you claim to know the riding, it has to be within the intellectual norms.

Look! If your intellect is drawn out, there is no difference at all between you and other animals in terms of the set traits and characteristics in many ways.though, a human owns the intlllect, he or she becomes the wildest among the wilds bypassing many natural orders. But why? Be thoughtful and reason deeply my friend, if you claim to be a human.

Ti nafsi sẽk tow siwor, wũdũr tu k̃hũ aql-e jilaw
Trẽ destet nafs ki diyet, aql e k̃hũn safo ko wũzũm
Alas! Your materialistic force(greed) has ridden you, tighten the bridle of your shrewdness,
If the greed you’ve suppressed under yourself, it’ll lead your intellect in pureness.

The greed and jealousy in a human could be considered parents of other abnormal social behaviors causing unrest at all levels (within a society in different walks of life), while telling a lie could be seen as the protector and cover of those abnormal values and behaviors (emanating from the greed and jealousy in the form of arrogance, killing, backbiting, oppressions, and the like). Be thoughtful in such circumstances, my friend, if you claim to be a human and possessor of the intellect bestowed upon you and you think yourself something elevated or refined.

Da Sohibet ki g̃hẽtek, mekrev k̃hũn rẽwo ko wũzum
Know that this world is like a guesthouse, you have come here as a guest for a couple of day,
If you have recognized the Master, within the set standars the roles you should play.

Birth of an organism means death if you are born in the Nature. You have to spend your life within the specified time and space.though, you are born a human,you have to leave this world sooner or later. Be thoughtful of your life’s eternity, my friend, if you deem yourself a human .

Dem dũnyowet tu sũvdogar, ti tarozũwi ti imon
Hachig̃h’vet ki k̃hũn nũsetk, adl-e ya sũvdo ko wũzũm
Realize! In this world, you are like a trader, and the weighing scale is your credence,
If you’ve eliminated your greed, bring truly the transaction with justice.
When you are born in the Nature, you perform like a trader having various types of transactions engrained in your nature.but if you’ve the intellect entailed with the set standards and faith, you are supposed to act accordingly, otherwise you are also a beast possessing strong level of voraciousness. Be thoughtful my friend, if you deem yourself a human.

Hey Fazal amin! you have to go in the earth one day,keep in mind and get prepared,
Disseminate the fruits of knowledge through the pleasing voice , if you’ve them gathered.

Remember, whatsoever your roles may be in this world, either as a testaker,a rider, a trader, a guest of an Inn, or the other,natural deformation will come up and you have to be part of the mother Earth again after you die.but the most important things to leave behind are the fruits of knowledge and deeds that needs to be disseminated to others with care and generosity.
